Keto Deep Dish Breakfast Pizza

A delicious breakfast recipe for those following a keto diet. Feel free to customize this recipe to enjoy your breakfast pizza however you may like!

Ingredients
Fathead Dough
  • 10 oz Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 Egg
  • 5 oz Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
Filling
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 Sausage Patties (Cooked and Crumbled)
  • 4 slices Cooked Bacon
  • 1/2 cup Thawed Pepper and Onion Blend (I use a frozen blend, but you can also use fresh diced veggies as well)
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Make Fathead Dough
  1. Add Mozzarella into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments until cheese is totally melted.

  2. Add in egg and mix until combined.

  3. Add almond flour and baking powder and mix until well combined. (Tip: Knead with your hands to mix it together easier. I punch the dough down with my fist and fold it over itself and repeat until the dough is fully combined.)

Forming the Pizza
  1. Press dough into the bottom of your cast iron skillet and halfway up the sides to make a deep dish like crust. Use a fork to poke holes in the crust to avoid it from bubbling. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is a very light golden brown color.

Making the Pizza
  1. Add your crumbled sausage, bacon, and veggies on the top of the crust.

  2. Wisk together 4 eggs and pour over the crust. Top with cheese.

  3. Return to oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the egg is set and golden brown in color.

I hope you enjoy this keto deep dish breakfast pizza!
